Practice,
Policies, and Disclosure Statement
I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
My role is to provide a safe environment where you can grow, come to know
yourself more deeply, and find a way to improve your life. My counseling
style is both educational and therapeutic, addressing both body and mind.
I have a deep respect for each individual’s inherent resilience and
capacity to heal and find their own answers. I am here to help you
discover the authentic, resourceful you that might be hidden behind old
habitual patterns, emotional conflicts, or physical pain, tension and
fatigue.
Fees and cancellation
policy:
My standard fee is $85 per hour. I offer a
sliding scale based on ability to pay. Payment is required at the time of service,
unless we make other arrangements. I will not charge for short telephone
or e-mail consultations and questions in between sessions. I do not take
insurance. - If you must cancel your appointments please contact me at
least 24 hours in advance. Unless 24 hours’ notice is given, you’ll be
responsible for the fee except in emergencies.- You have the right to
determine the frequency of our sessions and to end therapy at any time.
Before terminating therapy, I encourage you to give enough advance notice
so that there is time to make closure as a useful part of the therapeutic
process.
Confidentiality:
Everything that we talk about in the course of our work – in the office or
over the phone or via e-mail, is strictly confidential, including the fact
that you are working with me. Releasing any information to a third party
requires by law your written permission. In regards to some exceptions,
see below.
Ethics and Professional
Standards: As a Certified Rubenfeld Synergist I adhere to
the profession’s strict Standards of Practice and Ethical Principles,
which can be viewed at

I am also bound by the Counselor Credentialing Act,
chapter 18.19RCW.
